Jason Aldean Exhibit to Open at Country Music Hall of Fame in May
Jason Aldean is the latest country musician to be honored at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. On Monday (Jan. 9), it was announced that the singer's exhibit is scheduled to open on May 26 and run through Nov. 5.
“I am extremely honored to be invited to have an exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum,” Aldean says in a press release. “That building is filled with the artists who helped create and shape country music, so to be a part of that legacy is something I am very proud of.”
According to Rolling Stone, the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year has welcomed an archivist into his home over the past few months to catalog his memorabilia. The exhibit will examine Aldean's early career as well as his move from Georgia to Music City. In an interview with Rolling Stone last year, Aldean spoke of his legacy.

"I think when you have guys like me and Luke [Bryan] and Miranda [Lambert] and [Eric] Church, we've been the group that is out right now that is going to influence the next generation like Alabama did for me," Aldean told the publication. "There is somebody right now sitting in a room listening to our songs trying to figure out how to play them. They'll be the next wave of country superstars."
Aldean's exhibit is the first announced for the Country Music Hall of Fame's 50th anniversary celebration. The museum will announce all the exhibits for the year in daily reveals this week (Jan 9-13). Country fans can follow along via the museum's social media accounts and enter to win trips to each exhibit's opening reception throughout the year.
Jason Aldean has also been announced as a headliner for the 2017 Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter, N.Y. in June.
