[KNGT-FM] -- The 2025 Marshland Festival is heading your way this Friday and Saturday, July 25th and 26th, inside the Lake Charles Event Center Coliseum. The festival is packed with two days of awesome entertainment, food, shopping, and good old-fashioned Louisiana fun.
This year's entertainment lineup is huge, with not one but two big national acts performing at the festival. American Idol finalist and Louisiana boy John Foster will hit the stage, followed by their headliner, Riser House Entertainment country music recording artist Dillion Carmichael, on Saturday night.
John Foster was on this year's season of American Idol and made it to the finale, finishing second in the competition. Since then, he has been touring all over the country, and is making a stop right here in Lake Charles. Here are all of John's performances on the show.

Dillion Carmichael signed with Riser House Entertainment and released his first single to national country radio with the song Dancing Away With My Heart. Since then, Carmichael has seen success with his songs I Do For You, Hot Beer, Son Of A, Drinkin' Problems, and his new single out this week to radio called She's Gone.
