Kinder to Celebrate State Championship This Saturday

Kinder's victory in the state championship football game has given the Kinder community a rallying point and a reason for a huge celebration. It all happens this Saturday with a parade at 11 am.

The festivities start at six Saturday morning when teams begin cooking in the Sauce Piquante, Gumbo and other things served over rice. All the food will be ready by 10:30. State Champion football players will be on hand to sign autographs. Bring items you want autographed. There will be a $2 per item and money raised will go toward championship rings for the football players. There will also be a silent auction with one of a kind items signed by the team.
