The country star opened up during an interview at Tortuga Music Festival about his most memorable fan moments, and one in particular that stood out above the rest.

As a singer/songwriter one of the best feelings must be when fans tell you that your music inspires them or has helped them through some of the toughest times of their life. Kip Moore's music was that inspiration for one soldier fighting in the Middle East.

Kip told #KanvasLive that one of his most memorable fan interactions was with a combat soldier who told him that his album "Up All Night" helped him "keep his sanity". The singer recalls " It was a soldier who told me [about] being attacked in the Middle East.  They were hiding out in a bunker for over 24 hours.  He said the 'Up All Night' album was on his iPod, and he listened to it over and over. That's what kept his sanity in that moment.  It was a powerful moment for me.  That's when you realize the weight of your words."
