[KNGT-FM] The next big holiday is just around the corner, as we celebrate our country's independence on the 4th of July. All over our great nation, towns and cities alike will be ringing in the 4th with fireworks, barbecues, and attending 4th of July celebrations.
The City of Lake Charles, Louisiana, is ready to do the same with its annual Red, White, Blue & You Celebration taking place on Friday, July 4, 2025.

People in Southwest Louisiana will be firing up the pit and enjoying an extended holiday weekend next week. One of the most popular things for people to do on the 4th is watch a fireworks display. In the Southwest Louisiana and Lake Charles area, folks love to launch their boats and sit out on the lake to watch the show, while the city of Lake Charles has a fireworks extravaganza.
The City of Lake Charles has announced the event schedule for the upcoming Red, White, Blue & You Celebration taking place on the 4th of July. Katie Harington with the city said,
This is a FREE family-friendly event filled with all-day activities for all ages. Fill the Arcade Amphitheater with lawn chairs and blankets for a patriotic concert, Armed Forces Salute, food trucks, live music entertainment, and a fireworks finale over the lake. -City of Lake Charles
