Is This Lake Charles House at Pine & Ford Really Haunted? [VIDEO]

[KNGT-FM] - We are all fascinated by ghost tales. It intrigues us, it sparks our imagination, and when we learn of a possible haunted house where we live, we really raise our eyebrows.

We found a video on YouTube by a channel called Louisiana Dread. In the video, the narrator starts off talking about the great fire of 1910 in Lake Charles and how most of downtown was devastated by the fire. What is creepy is when he starts talking about a house on the corner of Pine and Ford streets that still stands today, which is haunted.

He starts explaining in the video that the house was owned by then Sheriff Henry Reid. He goes on to say that all three floors of the 5000-plus square foot house are haunted by three different people, with each one haunting just one floor. It's pretty creepy. Check this out.

In Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana, we have all heard the stories about the old Calcasieu Parish Courthouse being haunted. There is a story about Toni Jo Henry, who was executed in the courthouse basement. We did a story about that a while back, and there is a video of a woman talking to Toni Jo.

Several paranormal teams have investigated and even spent the night inside the courthouse to see if they could encounter a ghost sighting or reach out to those on the other side.
