Lake Charles Parks Outdoor Fun Series Announced

In August and September of this year, a weekly series of fun park activities will be taking place. The activities will be held at different parks around Lake Charles and will offer a wide variety of free activities for families and kids to participate in. With festivals and large gatherings being canceled, this is a way for families to get together and enjoy the SWLA area safely.

The activities planned during the two-month long series include yoga, slime parties, lemonade stands, nature walks, and much more. The initiative of the series is to encourage residents of the area to get out and enjoy the parks Lake Charles has to offer. All supplies for the events will be provided, but you must pre-register for each event you plan on attending so proper social distancing can be enforced.
