Who is Rodney Carrington?

Rodney is that funny guy from East Texas that sings some not quite "child appropriate" songs and in my opinions one of the greatest comedians ever . He’s also a singer, actor, and writer. He’s made eight big comedy albums on big labels and three more on his own label. He even has a platinum record! In 2019, he released an album called “Get Em Out” that hit #1 on iTunes. Another one, “Here Comes the Truth” in 2017, reached #3 and got tens of millions of Spotify plays. That album even became a Netflix special.

Rodney started in 1998 with “Hangin’ With Rodney.” He’s had nine top‑10 comedy albums including titles like “Morning Wood” and “King of the Mountains.” Two of his early albums went gold, and his greatest hits album went platinum. He also co-wrote and starred in the comedy movie “Beer for My Horses” with Toby Keith, and hosted his own ABC sitcom called “Rodney”. Plus, he’s been on big shows and won awards for his storytelling. He even wrote a book called “Coming Clean.” He recently dropped a single called “Let Me In” in October 2022.
