Labor Day was a lucky day for Powerball players in Louisiana as the Louisiana Lottery is reporting a $1,000,000 and $50,000 winners were sold in the state for Monday's drawing. The Lottery is also reporting there was a big win over the weekend in the state's Easy 5 game as well.  That ticket is reported to be worth $162,198.00.

If you did not see the Labor Day night drawing for Powerball on September 5th, here is how the ping pong balls landed.

According to the Powerball website the numbers drawn for September 5th, 2022 were:

04   07   32   55   64   Powerball 25  Powerplay x2

The Powerball website says the Louisiana ticket which matched all five of the white ball numbers was the only million-dollar winner in the country for Monday's drawing. There were no tickets sold for that drawing that matched all the numbers needed to claim the game's $158,400,000 top prize.

Game officials estimate that when the next Powerball game is played on Wednesday night the top prize will be $170 million dollars. If you choose the cash option and happen to match all the numbers needed to claim the jackpot your take from the game would be an estimated $93.8 million.
