Louisiana State Police to Conduct Seatbelt and Sobriety Checkpoint in Jeff Davis Parish Saturday

The Louisiana State Police announced that they will be conducting a seatbelt and sobriety checkpoint this Saturday Feb. 8, 2014 from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location in Jefferson Davis Parish. This checkpoint is an effert to increase seatbelt usage and combat impaired driving in this area. Support for this checkpoint is provided by the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.
