LSU Baseball Lands Their Fifth Top 5 Pre-Season Ranking

Tiger fans are excited for the upcoming LSU Baseball season and with good reason. Most of the pre-season polls are rolling out and LSU has just received their fifth top 5 ranking.

The LSU baseball team has already received the # 2 ranking in the Collegiate Baseball and Perfect Game preseason polls.  They are ranked # 4 in the Baseball America poll and #5 in the D1 Baseball preseason ranking.

Well yesterday evening, the USA Today pre-season polls were released and the Tigers are now ranked #2 in the USA Today coaches poll.

The tigers start the 2017 season on Friday February 17th against Air Force Academy in Baton Rouge at Alex Box Stadium.
