LSU Cracks Into Top 20 In Rankings

The LSU Tigers played in a monsoon last Saturday in Knoxville against Tennessee.  The Tigers got it done, though, scoring their 8th win of the season, and beating the Volunteers 30-10.

For their efforts, LSU jumped up three spots in one pool, and they are up two spots in another poll.

The Tigers moved from #21 in the AP Poll, and now sit at #19.  LSU jumped three sports in the Amway Coaches poll.  They went from #21 to #18.

The college football playoff rankings will be released tomorrow night on ESPN.

The Tigers get ready for their regular season finale this Saturday, when they take on Texas A&M at Tiger Stadium.  Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m., and the game will be televised on the SEC network.
