LSU football fans were getting all psyched up for this weekend's big game against Alabama only to find out the game has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.

When the announcement came down, they made it clear that the game was postponed but not canceled, so LSU fans expect another date to be announced later on for the match up.

It is a bummer though, because this was the game all LSU and Alabama fans circle on their calendar as the biggest game of the year no matter what the teams records are at the time of the game.

Next up for the LSU Tigers is a game against Arkansas on Saturday, November 21. The game is known as the Battle Of The Boot and it's scheduled to be played on the road in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The game time has been announced, and it's going to be an early start with an 11:00am kickoff. The television network airing the game is still to be determined.

The LSU Arkansas game could be televised on ESPN or the SEC Network, depending on the outcome of this weekend's games. The game could also be in jeopardy due to COVID-19 concerns. The reason the Alabama game was postponed was because it was reported that several LSU football players tested positive for the virus.

To recap, no LSU football this weekend, and we will have to see how it shakes out next week to see if the LSU Arkansas game happens.
