LSU Plummets In Polls After Mississippi State Loss
Last Saturday night, most LSU Tiger football fans jaws were dropping after seeing the Tigers performance against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs stunned LSU and the country with not only upsetting the Tigers but beating them bad with a final score of 37-7.
Well the College football voters who rank the teams nationally saw it the same way as well because the Tigers fell from the #12 spot they sat in last week and almost fell out of the top 25 all together.
Last week, LSU was ranked #12 in the AP Poll but this week they are barely hanging on by a thread in the National Poll dropping all the way to #25 in the latest AP voting.
The Tigers also dropped from #11 in the Coaches poll to #23 this this week. The Tigers now sit at 2-1 on the season and 0-1 in SEC play.
Next up is a game back at Tigers Stadium against the Big Orange of Syracuse. Kick off for the game this Saturday is at 6:00 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN 2.
