Easter is right around the corner, which means it’s time to break out the pastel colors, hunt for eggs, and indulge in way too much chocolate! Whether you’re a kid sprinting through the yard looking for hidden treasures or an adult sneaking a few extra jellybeans from the candy stash, there’s something magical about this time of year.

Beyond the sweet treats, Easter is also a sign that spring is officially in full swing. Flowers are blooming, the sun is sticking around a little longer, and everything just feels a little brighter. It’s the perfect excuse to gather with family and friends, enjoy a big meal, and maybe even show off those bunny-ear headbands that only come out once a year.

With that being said, if you plan on hunting Easter eggs with the family after church and lunch on Easter Sunday, you might want to stock up on the Easter Eggs because one major retailer is going to be closing its doors to celebrate the holiday...

This means that if you need last-minute items—whether it's Easter egg coloring supplies, ingredients for your holiday meal, or a quick shopping run—you will need to make those purchases ahead of time. If you do find yourself needing something on Easter Sunday, there will still be other options. Many grocery stores and restaurants will remain open to serve customers.

To avoid any inconvenience, shoppers should check ahead for alternative stores that will be open on Easter. Planning your shopping trip will help ensure you have everything you need for the holiday without any last-minute stress.
