Never Been to a Mardi Gras Ball? We Want To Take You
Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - Ever wondered what it’s like to attend a real Mardi Gras ball with all the beautiful gowns, the tuxes, the music, and all the tradition that comes with it? If you’ve never experienced one, this is your chance to do Mardi Gras the VIP way.
My wife and I would love to give one lucky listener and their guest an unforgettable introduction to Mardi Gras by attending an authentic krewe ball in Lake Charles. My wife and I are proud members of the Krewe de Fous Amis, which translates to the Krewe of Crazy Friends.
Last year, we were crowned the King and Queen of our krewe. Our reign ends this season, and we will be passing the crowns, and we want you to be a part of it.

The Krewe de Fous Amis Mardi Gras Ball takes place Saturday, February 7th, and we’re handling everything so you can simply enjoy the experience. One listener and a guest will receive two tickets to the ball and be seated at our table for the evening. Expect a full buffet, live music, and a lively celebration from start to finish.

To make the night even more special, the guests attending will receive:
- A free formal dress (up to $200 value) from Bayou A Dress For Less, located at 1100 East McNeese Street in Lake Charles, and yes, the dress is yours to keep.
- The gentleman will be fitted with a free tuxedo from Squire's Formalwear at 116 West Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles.
- And because Mardi Gras is all about style, you’ll arrive and depart in a luxury limousine provided by Eric Trahan’s Luxury Limo / LimoDaddy.com of Lake Charles.
Entering is easy. Just fill out the form below and tell me why you want to attend a Mardi Gras ball. The idea is to take a couple who have NEVER been to a ball before. Winners and guests must be 21 or older.
A huge thank you to Luxury Limo/LimoDaddy.com, Bayou A Dress For Less, and Squires Formalwear for making this possible. Get ready to celebrate Mardi Gras in style, and good luck from Mike Soileau and Gator 99.5.
