The man from right across the border Mark Chesnutt was scheduled to make his way back to Lake Charles for a big show this weekend but it was announced yesterday that the show has had to be rescheduled. Mark Chesnutt was born right down the road about 45 minutes from Lake Charles.

He was born in Beaumont, Texas, and cut his teeth playing the honky tonks in Southeast Texas before signing his first record deal in Nashville in 1990 with MCA.

Mark released his first single To Cold At Home which vaulted into the top 5 on the country charts and there was no looking back after that. Since then he has strung together a list of hits like Brother Jukebox, Blame It On Texas, Your Love Is A Miracle, Old Flames Have New Names, I'll Think Of Something, Bubba Shot The Jukebox, Ol' Country, It Sure IS Monday, Almost Goodbye, I Just Wanted You To Know, Goin' Through Big D, Gonna Get A Life, and It's A Little Too Late.
