McNeese Football Faces Sam Houston In Hall OF Fame Weekend

The McNeese Cowboys football team returns back to Lake Charles for a big game with the Sam Houston Bearcats this Saturday night.

This is the first time Sam Houston had played the Cowboys in Lake Charles since 2015.

The game will also feature the Hall Of Fame weekend where former McNeese standout athletes will be enshrined into the McNeese sports Hall of Fame.

According to Matt Bonnette with MSU,

Five former McNeese standouts have been selected to the McNeese Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2019 – football’s Ronald Cherry and Chris Fontenot, track’s Samantha Chesson and Tom McGrath, and baseball’s Bill Simon.

Tickets for the game can be picked up at the Jack Doland Field house or by calling 562-4MSU.  Remember with the purchase of an adult general admission ticket your child 12 and under is free.
