Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - It will be another busy week in Lake Charles and throughout the campus of McNeese State University. It is officially Homecoming Week for the McNeese Cowboys, and we've got everything going on throughout the week for students and the general public!

Homecoming Week is always a big one at McNeese. This year, it will all culminate with the Cowboys' football games against Houston Christian on Saturday Night, where the Cowboys will be looking for their first conference win of the season.

2025 McNeese Homecoming Week Events

This year's Homecoming Theme is "Rowdy Ever After."

There are a ton of events for students, but the general public will be out in droves on Thursday for the parade. Never been? CLICK HERE for a look at the Parade Route.

The celebration kicks off on Monday, October 13, with a lively Homecoming Kickoff event from 4 to 6 p.m. in The Quad. Students can enjoy food, giveaways, and plenty of activities to set the tone for the week. On Tuesday, October 14, the laughs will take center stage with a comedy show featuring Sydney Castillo, best known from Wild ’N Out. The show runs from 6 to 7 p.m. in Parra Ballroom. The fun continues on Wednesday, October 15, with the popular Oozeball Mud Volleyball Tournament starting at 2 p.m. behind New Ranch. Teams can sign up to compete for prizes while getting a little muddy in the process.

Thursday night, October 16, features the annual Homecoming Parade at 7 p.m., followed by a spirited Pep Rally at Navarre Stadium. The celebration rolls into Friday, October 17, with a Cowboy Block Party featuring live music from LA Roxx, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Alumni Pavilion.

Saturday, the Cowboys will take on Houston Christian with kickoff slated for 6:00 inside Navarre Stadium. CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE TICKETS
