McNeese Homecoming Announces 2025 Parade Date & Route
[KNGT-FM] - We are right in the middle of the 2025 college football season, and coming up later this month in mid-October, the McNeese Cowboys football team and the University will celebrate homecoming.
The homecoming week for the Pokes will kick off on Monday, October 13th, and run through Saturday, October 18th, 2025. There are a bunch of activities planned for the students and the public. One of those events includes the annual McNeese Homecoming parade, which will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025. This years theme is "Rowdy Ever After".
The parade will feature local businesses, McNeese Alumni, the McNeese band, sororities, and fraternities, as well as the cheerleaders and football team parading down Ryan Street. If you would like to be in the parade for your business or organization, you will need to get registered as soon as possible on their website here.
Things You Will Need To Know If You're Going To Be In The 2025 McNeese Homecoming Parade
If you want to be in the parade, you will need to line up your float between 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in Lot A, which is across from the football stadium. The parade will leave Lot A around 5:45 p.m. to head down Common Street to the lineup to get on Ryan Street.
The Parade will begin at 7:00 p.m.starting on the corner of East LaGrange Street and Ryan Street. It will turn South on Ryan Street and travel down to McNeese Street. Then it will turn East on McNeese Street and end back at the parking lot A in front of the stadium.

The Cowboys football team will face off against Houston Christian at Navarre Stadium on Saturday, October 18th, to conclude homecoming week.
