Midland’s Mr Lonely stars Dennis Quaid and is 100% 90’s Country
The first single from Midland's newest album oozes 90's Country. The "director's cut", shows Quaid waking up in a random bed and psyching himself up for another evening of "not being Mr. Right, but Mr. Right now" according to the lyrics. He dons a black hat and all denim, and strolls into the bar.
Sitting down, he scans the room to lots of angry ladies. Soon he realizes he has "met" them all, and its payback time. The band plays on as the video portrays every 90's blockbuster movie effect under the sun, furthering the fact that Midland is reaching back to a retro-style album perhaps.
