It seems to be the "hot new trend" these days. Large chain stores closing left and right to save the overall corporation, or just get out while they still can. Locally, we have seen Sears and K-Mart both close their doors and leave town. Around the world, more of these locations are closing, like Payless totally going out of business, and hoping to regroup and make a come back.

According to an online article from USA Today, the list is long, and keeps growing, even through 2020.

Family Dollar - 390 Stores

Gap - 230

Tesla - 200 Worldwide

Victoria's Secret - 53

Vera Bradley - 50

Target - 6

Kohl's - 4

What's causing these closings? Perhaps we just REALLY love Amazon Prime more than driving to the store.
