As the college football season draws near, more preseason award watch list continue to roll out. Last week, six different LSU Tigers were named to preseason award watch lists. This week, the remaining award watch lists were released and more LSU Tigers received the honor of being on those watch lists.

LSU sophomore running back Leonard Fournette, who already made the Maxwell Award watch list, has also been named to the Doak Walker Award watch list. The Doak Walker Award is presented to the nations top collegiate running back.

Also on the offensive side of the ball, LSU senior wide receiver Travin Dural was named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list. The Biletnikoff Award is presented to the nations top collegiate wide receiver. LSU has had just one Biletnikoff Award winner and that was Josh Reed back in 2001.

On the defensive side of the football, LSU junior linebacker Kendall Beckwith was named to the Butkus Award watch list. The Butkus Award is presented to the nations top linebacker. Beckwith was also named to the Bednarik and Nagurski Award watch lists.

LSU senior offensive lineman Vadal Alexander, who was named to the Outland Trophy watch list, along with freshman offensive lineman toby Weathersby were named to the Rotary Lombardi Award watch list. This award is presented to the nations best lineman or linebacker. Eligibility for this award is limited to lineman end-to-end either on offense or defense as well as linebackers who line up no father then five yards away from the line of scrimmage.

LSU senior punter Jamie Kheen also made an award watch list. He was named to the Wuerffel Award watch list. This award is known as "College Football's Premier Award for Community Service." Former LSU offensive lineman Rudy Niswanger was the inaugural winner of the award in 2005.

The tentative date for the first LSU fall practice is August 6th.
