New Restaurant Opens In Old Burger King Location In Lake Charles

Back in 2021, we reported that the old Burger King location located at 401 East Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles was closed and abandoned. The Burger King at that location had been there for as long as I could remember.

I know for a fact that the Bk at that location had been there since at least the mid-1980s because I was in high school and used to go there after school.  It sat abandoned for over two years until about the middle of 2023 when we started seeing movement of workers and construction being done to the building which made us wonder what was going into the old building.

Then a sign finally went up giving away what the next thing would be housed at that location, another restaurant. The new place is called Louisiana Fried Chicken & Seafood and we noticed over the Christmas holiday that it was now open.

We got a hold of a copy of the new menu for the restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised to see they offer a wide variety of Louisiana food. They offer Fried Chicken, Chicken tenders, shrimp, fish, gumbo, and even shrimp, chicken, or crawfish fried rice. We took a picture of the menu for you and you can see all that they have to offer below.
