New Restaurant SWLA Has Never Had, Opens In Lake Charles

Restaurants are popping up all over the lake area. Some of the eateries you are already familiar with and are expanding to new locations while some new restaurants coming to Southwest Louisiana are brand new to the area.

Last week we reported that the Blue Iguana is expanding to a new location in Westlake and is currently being built on Sampson Street. The other day we were driving through Lake Charles when we noticed a new restaurant up and running that we were not familiar with.

So we did some research and found on its social media page that they are now open and ready for business. The new eatery is called Chick O’ Fish Chicken & Fish Fingers. Officially, they open the doors this past Wednesday, February 12th in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

We took a look at their website and saw that already have five locations in Louisiana. There are three in Shreveport and two in Bossier City, Louisiana. They also have five locations in Oklahoma, one in Arkansas, and two in Texas.

The new Chick O' Fish is located at 1400 North Martin Luther King Hwy in Lake Charles, Louisiana and they offer Chicken fingers, Chicken Sandwiches, a fish and chicken combo, and fish poboys.

They made an announcement on the Chick O' Fish Lake Charles Facebook page about the opening of the new store and said,

Lake Charles, can you keep a secret?

We’ve quietly opened our doors and are welcoming in our first customers during our OPENING!
