Rescuers Take Shots Of Vodka During Boat Rescue In Spring, Texas
During a segment on Fox 26 Houston, camera crews filmed boat rescuers in Spring, Texas as they shared shots of vodka during a high water rescue.
Even though the news reporter thought the rescuers were sharing water, it was still a moment of camaraderie shared among strangers that gave me hope for everyone impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
I'm not sure if these rescuers are from Louisiana, but they definitely handled the situation in true Louisiana spirit. And, if you ask me, the heroic efforts of all of the rescuers in Texas is definitely something to raise a glass, or in this case a bottle cap, to.
