But, we sat down for an exclusive interview with the songwriting legend, and he talked about his upcoming albums, his songwriting process and who he'd like to see cover his material.

You can check out the entire interview below, but I have to say REK took me aback for a second when I asked him who he'd most like to collaborate with.

"Well, I want to make a record with Sade," he said, without thinking about it. Apparently, he'd been waiting for someone to ask him that question for a while. It was probably the answer I least prepared to hear. What would that project sound like?

"I don't know -- but it'd be about love," he laughed. Best. Interview. Answer. Ever.
