Saturday Night: Fun Jumps, Football & Jason Ashley!
The Louisiana Swashbucklers wrapped up their regular season with the final home game Saturday night, and it was more than just a game, it was an EVENT! The Swashbucklers had a star studded lineup for a full evening of family entertainment.
US Agencies and your Louisiana Swashbucklers brought this memorable night! It started with an awesome the Luna Live Tailgate Party, with live music by the lake on the Miller Lite stage, while the kids enjoyed the obstacle courses, rock climbing walls, and fun jumps by Jump City. And hanging out at the tailgate party, was Lake Charles native and Dallas Cowboys player Nate Livings who was signing complimentary photos for everyone to take home, and posing for pictures with Bucs fans.
Then the Swashbucklers battled the Alabama Hammers inside the Lake Charles Civic Center. The Bucs have officially made the playoffs, and this game was crucial to the seeding of post season play. The Louisiana Swashbucklers end the 2012 regular season with a 6-6 record by virtue of defeating the Alabama Hammers 75-70. Though the Columbus Lions beat the Knoxville Nighthawks 76-63, the Swashbucklers will enter the PIFL playoffs as the third seed. But, once again, the Bucs had to come from behind to take it, considering the Hammers surged back from a 20 point deficit to nearly win the game.
Next weekend, the Swashbucklers will enter the PIFL playoffs along with the Albany Panthers, Columbus Lions, and the Richmond Raiders.
The evening wraped up with a Live Concert from Louisiana native and Nashville Country Recording Artist Jason Ashley. This post game concert had the whole family singing and dancing!
It was the perfect way to wrap up the 2012 Louisiana Swashbuckler season, and I hope you didn't miss a thing!
