If you are a fan of the Discovery Channel's annual scare-fest, also known as 'Shark Week', then get ready for the fun to begin on July 28th. And this year, you'll be able to see a familiar destination for a lot of Acadiana residents - Destin, Florida.

According to the nwfdailynews.com, filming for a 30 minute segment took place last Thursday in the Choctawhatchee Bay, and will feature a semi-submersible watercraft called a Seabreacher. The owners of the submersible are looking to open their first commercial business location in the United States, and say that it will either be in Destin or Panama City Beach.

The 31st season of 'Shark Week' will once again be hosted by actor and comedian Rob Riggle, and will run July 28 - August 4th. Check out the hilarious promo for 'Shark Week' below, and happy swimming, y'all.
