Shelton Makes History!

This morning with Kris and Scott, Jimmy Carter reported that Blake Shelton made history with his recent number-one hit, "My Eyes." 

The song is his 12th consecutive chart-topper, and that gives him the distinction of the most back-to-back number-ones in monitored country airplay history.

The significance of the accomplishment isn't lost on Blake. Early in his career he had a pretty long dry spell when it came to hits, and he certainly hasn't forgotten about it.
