Snake In Sam Houston Jones State Park [VIDEO]

I know I need to exercise and I needed to go someplace to relax and unwind. It has been a long time since I have been on the nature trail at Sam Houston Jones State Park. The weather was beautiful. I thought I'd  head that way.

I went though the gate and noticed a warning sign that the boat launch and playground were closed. You may have seen yesterday's post where I put up some pictures of the recent flooding. I thought the boat launch and playground must be flooded and decided to go and have a look. That's when I saw this little guy. He meant no harm and was probably recently washed out of his home. I thought you might like to see him. It's certainly a sign of springs arrival and a warning. I decided I could walk the trail another day when the water had receded and I had a nice stick!
