It is sort of funny to look at the show from a broad view. We're now into the 5th season in 9 years, which means we've watched children grow into adults, while still playing children in the show.

The final season of Stranger Things will be released in three parts. Stranger Things will be released on Netflix in three volumes: Volume 1 on November 26, 2025; Volume 2 on December 25, 2025; and the finale on December 31, 2025.

Stranger Things Season 5 Finale Could Release In Theaters

Some new rumors are going around about the final season of Stranger Things. According to a report from What’s on Netflix, the two-hour series finale might be shown in theaters on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day, the same day it comes out on Netflix.

According to the report, the rumor started from a newsletter by Puck, which claimed Netflix and AMC Theatres have been talking about a special theater release for the finale. However, Netflix hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

UPDATE: Stranger Things has officially announced that Stranger Things 5 will be shown in select theatres around the United States.
