Sulphur Man Arrested for Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile

A local man is behind bars after trading inappropriate messages via Snap Chat with a 12-year-old girl.

Detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office got a complaint on March 20, in reference to Chad R. Leblanc, 23, of 3347 Maple Lane, Sulphur, trading the inappropriate messages with the young girl that he reportedly met through Snap Chat.  He was arrested on April 17, and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with felony indecent behavior with a juvenile, said a media release from Kim Myers.

Leblanc's bond is set at $300,000.
