SWLA Spring Art Walk Is Set For April 29

Mark this on your calender! On April 29,  the Arts Council of SWLA and the City of Lake Charles brings 2016 Spring Art Walk.

On that day several businesses in the downtown area will be turned into pop-up galleries, plus  the 600-1000 blocks of Ryan Street are full of live music and arts performances, food trucks, the annual Art War, and an extensive outdoor art market. It will be quite the happening for the Lake Area on the last Friday of the month of April.

This free event concentrates the Lake Area arts community into a few square blocks of the Charlestown Cultural District to support the local art scene and highlight the downtown area.
