Edwin Edwards is running for the 6th Congressional district in Louisiana. The Louisiana Democratic Party has endorsed Edwards though Mary Landrieu has not. There are 13 people running for the seat. Can Edwards win?

I really had trouble with the headline for this one. Should it be based on Sulphur Mayor Chris Duncan winning re-election. Should it be based on him beating the same candidate again; or should it be based on the fact that (according to the American Press) less than 4,00 people voted in the election.

One is 70 years old and the other is 83 and they just don't like each other. One has even placed an article in the paper to keep people for voting for the other.  Their differences finally came to a head and fisticuffs were the result.

Edwin Edwards is an 86 year old convicted felon. He is also a 4 times Governor of Louisiana and served in Congress. He is thinking of throwing his hat back into politics with a run for Congress. Would he have your support?

The polls for Saturday's election open at 7 a.m. -- NOT at 6 a.m. like they used to.  The law has changed, and the polls are now open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Make sure you get out and vote -- and bring your pictured I.D.  Here's everything you'll see on Saturday's ballot:

With the news of the Pope Benedict XVI's resignation comes the beginning of the process to elect a new one. It is a very detailed process and very secretive. We are all used to following elections with social media and twenty news networks. The Vatican does not work that way.

As the the 2012 election is over, the debate continues. The state of Florida still hasn't been decided, and we still have a congressional seat to decide here in SWLA in December. It's been an ugly election -- no doubt about it.  This election has been so divisive, it's ruined friendships.  Even Cash and I turned on each other at one point.  We fought like cats and dogs.  We even purchased some air time to let people know how angry we are.
