With Scott Lewis out starting next Wednesday, Kris St. James feared an entire week of absolute boredom, loneliness, sadness.... sooooo... "Gator Management" allowed St. James to have a different Mystery Co Host for each day starting August 6th.

I remember giving away a bunch of canoe rentals to radio listeners and gathering everybody together for some fun on the Ouisko Chitto some year ago. It started as a great trip; but did not end that way.

Lori Primeaux-Coleman hadn't ever won anything in her life, really.  Nothing big.  So she enters the "Wake Up With Al" contest with the Today Show on NBC.  Doesn't expect to win.  And then, suddenly, she did.  And now Lori's on national TV and America's most famous weatherman -- Al Roker -- is hanging out in her office.  She's a celebrity, and she's turning Carlyss upside down.

The 12-year-old boy allegedly shot by his 16-year-old cousin over the weekend remains in critical condition, according to Lake Charles police.  The fate of the alleged shooter, meanwhile, also remains in the air.

When we started asking you to send in your questions, we were kind of flooded with questions about Dale's radio career.  So, today, we decided to put all those together into one video to try and answer everything at once.  We try to be efficient around here.

So the former Governor of Louisiana, Edwin Edwards, got married over the weekend.  He married a woman 52 years younger than him.

The holiday season is here and SWLA always takes care of the community when in need!
