Get ready for a big game in Lake Charles this Wednesday night as the McNeese Cowboys will host the Ragin' Cajuns of Louisiana-Lafayette.

McNeese will host the Mississippi State Bulldogs from the Southeastern Conference this Wednesday evening in Lake Charles.

The McNeese Cowboys baseball team get set to kick of their 2018 season right here at home in Lake Charles tonight.

McNeese Sports just released a statement on their official Facebook page stating that 2017 Southland Conference Champs Cowboys will host the Mississippi State Bulldogs in baseball in 2018!

With a great 2017 baseball season for the McNeese Cowboys, it's no surprise that some players from the team got drafted in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft.

McNeese head baseball coach Justin Hill was named the Southland Conference Coach Of The Year yesterday by his piers. McNeese will also start the conference tournament today in Sugarland, Texas and will face the #8 seed Lamar Cardinals in the first round.

The pokes are headed to the Southland Conference tournament this week and they have received the #1 seed in the tournament.

Its been eleven years since the McNeese Baseball team won the Southland Conference baseball title and tonight they could do it again.

Back in April the McNeese Cowboys baseball team were slated to take on Ragin' Cajuns in Lafayette but due to bad weather the game was postponed and rescheduled for tonight.

This weekend the pokes took two of three games over Northwestern State and stayed in first place in the Southland Conference.

The pokes cracked the top 25 in the Collegiate Baseball top 25 and are ranked #23 nationally for the first time in school history.
