McNeese Baseball Make School History Landing On National Polls

The McNeese Cowboys baseball team are on fire and have been ripping through the Southland Conference (SLC) this season.  The pokes are 16-2 in SLC play this year and are an impressive 26-9 on the year.

LSu has beating big time teams like LSU, ULM, and Louisiana Tech just to name a few. Yesterday, the McNeese baseball team made school history by landing on a college baseball national poll.

The pokes cracked the top 25 in the Collegiate Baseball top 25 and are ranked #23 nationally for the first time in school history.  The Cowboys have won eight of their last nine games which helped garner this national ranking.

McNeese will take on Louisiana Tech tonight in Ruston.  The pokes beat La Tech 5-3 earlier this season.
