Halloween. The word makes me think of the guy in the mask and bloody, gory, badly-done 80s thrillers. And instantly, I'm shivering! Give me a spider or a creepy-crawly (one at a time, please), and I am just fine. Keep your horror movies and haunted houses...

Halloween falls on Thursday this year, but the bad news is that we're looking at a 70 percent chance of rain on that day.  In response, many towns are changing up their trick-or-treating times.  Here's the most recent update on Southwest Louisiana trick-or-treat times. (We'll update this page if other times change):

I bet your kids have already ask you when they will be going "Trick or Treating." We have received the schedule from the City of Lake Charles and details on an alternative (Halloween Harvest fest.)
