Teen Death Is the First Reported Hurricane Laura Casualty

Hurricane Laura is one of the most powerful storms to hit Louisiana in modern history.

The Louisiana governor's office has confirmed a 14-year-old girl was killed when a tree fell through her family's house. It's the first confirmed death from Hurricane Laura. No additional information was provided.
