‘The Sandlot’ Is Coming Back As A TV Series

You're killing me, Smalls!

And I mean that in the best way possible, because anytime I can get more of "The Sandlot" in my life is a home run.

I mean, I'm pretty sure I still quote the 1993 classic at least once a week. I'll even go ahead and say that "The Sandlot" was one of those movies that shaped a generation. Go ahead and argue with me if you want, but I guarantee I am not the only one who watched the "The Sandlot" more than almost any other movie growing up.

Now, the entire gang is all grown up and back together again for a Sandlot sequel! This is amazing!

According to ABC 13, director David Mickey Evans revealed that he recently sold a 2-season sequel to a streaming service. Evans also revealed that the series will feature the original cast and will take place in 1984.
