Things To Do In Lake Charles And SWLA This Weekend Jan. 26-28
Last week it was a freeze, this week it was a monsoon. I know you are all tired of the weather, closures, and traffic issues and are now ready to throw caution to the wind and blow off some steam.

Louisiana's country music recording artist Frank Foster will be in Lake Charles this Saturday night, January 27th, 2024 at the Golden Nugget Casino's Grand Event Center. He will hit the stage at 8:00 p.m.
The 24th annual Hackberry Duck Off is Saturday, January 27th, 2024 in downtown Hackberry, Louisiana. The event will have a skeet shooting contest, a cook-off, washboard, and cornhole tournaments, and a live and silent auction. Here are more details here.
The McNeese Cowboys and Cowgirls basketball teams will be in action in Lake Charles on Saturday afternoon. The Women's game starts at 1:00 p.m. followed by the Men's team at 4:00 p.m. Both games will take place inside the Legacy Center in Lake Charles.

The Charlestown and Moss Bluff Farmers Markets will take place on Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to Noon at each location. The Charlestown is located behind the historic city hall in downtown Lake Charles. The Moss Bluff farmers market is located at 325 Sam Houston Jones Parkway.
