Voice of Big Bang’s Mrs. Wolowitz Dies

She was never seen on The Big Bang Theory but we all knew her voice. Carol Ann Susi was the voice of Howard's mom. She has passed away at the age of 62.

Though Carol Ann Susi was never seen on the show; she had appeared on several other shows like Cheers, Doogie Howser M.D., Mad About You, Just Shoot Me and Six Feet Under. There is no word on what will become of her character on the show although it is said that Melissa Rauch (who plays Bernadette) does a great impression of Susi.
