This weekend down in Denham Springs was a three-day festival called the Cajun Country Memorial Day Festival, and it featured a few major artists, combined with some popular Louisiana artists. Artists like Craig Morgan, Frank Foster, Chris Cagle, Dylan Scott, and others paired with the likes of Wayne Toups, Parish Country Line, and more from the Bayou State.

We had heard a rumor that Louisiana's own John Foster would be making his first Post-Idol appearance over the Weekend at the festival, but they didn't really have a time stamped for him. Well, turns out, Foster performed at various times throughout the weekend as he made appearances with numerous artists, including Craig Morgan.

Over the weekend, John announced that he will be making his debut at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on June 7th!
