"Dukes Of Hazzard" Theme (Good Ol' Boys) No. 1-36 Years Ago

The theme song for one of my favorite TV shows of all time, "The Dukes Of Hazard", was number one on the country charts 36 years ago today. If you loved comedy, fast cars and just plain country living, then you were a huge fan of "The Dukes Of Hazard".

I mean, that was the first time in my lifetime where me and all my friends were in love with Daisy Duke. I was also such a huge fan of the show that I had the General Lee Matchbox cars and the metal "The Dukes Of Hazard" lunchbox.

Some of you may not know this, but Waylon Jennings not only sang the theme song for the show, he was also the its narrator. Well, 36 years ago today, Waylon Jennings scored a number one hit on the country music charts for the theme song to "The Dukes Of Hazard" (Good Ol' Boys).
