
Weekend Guide To Fun: Concerts & Events In Lake Charles
Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - It's Wednesday, and every week we run down concerts and events taking place in the Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana area for you. That way, you have some time to decide on what you would like to do on your time off.
Several big-name national acts are coming to town this weekend, along with a crawfish boil cook-off with live music from local favorites. Check out the list below and start making your plans.

Country icon Mark Chesnutt will be live at the Golden Nugget on Friday night, May 1st, inside of thier Grand Event Center. Mark will hit the stage at 8:30 pm that night. For tickets and what you need to know before you go, check it out here.

The 4th Annual McVey's Crawfish Boil-off is taking place on Saturday from 11:00 am until at Mary's Lounge on Broad Street in Lake Charles. The event is free to attend and open to all ages. They will have a crawfish Boil-off, all you can eat crawfish for $35, and live music featuring headliners Steelshot.
Yachtley Crew, Yachtsea, and Catalina Wine Mixer will all be live at L'Auberge Casino Resort at Touloulou's Beach in Lake Charles this Sunday, May 3rd. The event starts at 1:00 pm, and for tickets and details, check it out here.
Legendary band Chicago will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center on Saturday night. The rock and roll hall of fame band will be singing all their big hits for one night only.
