Weekend Traffic Alerts

We thought we would save you some aggravation during your weekend
commute. There is road construction and  a DWI check point scheduled
this weekend.

State Police Troop D and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's office plan
to conduct a DWI check point Saturday between 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m..
There will be road construction on Highway 108 near Bayou D'Inde Road.
This will result in lane closures from 7:00  a.m. Saturday till noon on
Sunday.

The Miller Avenue bridge at Marino Bayou in Westlake will be completely closed beginning September 1st. The bridge is being re-constructed and will re-open sometime in February 2013.
