Summer Offically Begins For the St. James Clan [VIDEO]

The end of recreational softball means only one thing for the St. James household... the beginning of summer! And last night's doubleheader made proud parents at North Frasch in Sulphur.

My daughter plays on a 16-18 year old softball team named the SWAT and the coach made the decision to put her on the mound last night. By the end of the night, Ellie would pick up wins in a doubleheader! The SWAT defeated Team USA 15-0, and the Slammers 7-3 in the nightcap. Ellie's mom, brother, grandma, and her church peeps were present for the outing.

The SWAT had a rollercoaster season due to several player bitten by the injury bug. But they gave no excuses, the team played on.
