Over the weekend, Zac Brown Band wrapped the Nashville edition of the Southern Ground Music & Food Festival with several all-star guests. The two-day event kicked off Friday with sit-in performances by Kenny Rogers, Kenny Chesney, Jason Mraz and surprise guest Amos Lee. Saturday’s guests included John Fogerty, Clare Bowen from the ABC drama Nashville and Warren Haynes. Willie Nelson was able to make Saturday’s show, despite having to cancel several concerts because of a shoulder injury. Onsite, concertgoers were offered high-end eats from several local restaurants, while ZBB’s executive chef Rusty Hamlin prepared grub from the official Southern Ground cook book, including a chocolate peanut butter biscuit pudding. The Charleston Southern Ground Music & Food Festival is October 19th and 20th at Blackbaud Stadium.
