Last night was considered to be one of the biggest nights in country music: the 2020 CMA Awards. There were a lot of big names with lots of big nominations in place, all hoping to take home a win in each category. It was an even bigger night for Miranda Lambert and Luke Combs, as both had the most nominations out of anyone for the year.

The event had a drastic change from previous years. It was the first time ever that it had no live audience, only the nominees. The event is typically held at the Bridgestone Arena, but due to COVID-19 rules and regulations in the state, it was forced to move and condense its attendees list.

Here is are the winners from last night:

  • Entertainer of the Year  - Eric Church
  • Female Vocalist of the Year - Maren Morris
  • Male Vocalist of the Year - Luke Combs
  • Vocal Group of the Year - Old Dominion
  • Vocal Duo of the Year - Dan+Shay
  • New Artist of the Year  -Morgan Wallen
  • Album of the Year  - Luke Combs
  • Song of the Year - Maren Morris
  • Single of the Year - Maren Moris
  • Musical Event of the Year - Carly Pearce and Lee Brice
  • Music Video of the Year - Miranda Lambert
  • Musician of the Year - Jenee Fleenor

Lots of big names and lots of big awards from country music's biggest night.
